Coupons: how to stay organized

  • Save your Sunday coupon booklets: SmartSource (SS), Redplum(RP), Proctor and Gamble(PG), General Mills(GM).
  • Save yourself time and don’t cut out every individual coupon.
  • Go to Wal-Mart or an office supply store and buy an accordian file and file each Sunday’s coupons together each week.
  • Write the date very large on the front of the booklet with a permanent marker.
  •  The websites I follow that are listed to the right will tell you where to find the coupon. Example: you will usually see the item then the coupons listed underneath – SS 10/3/2010.
  •  You will keep the booklet of coupons for approximately 5 months before all of the coupons expire.

I always wondered how long to keep them! I have a pile, just too lazy to go through them and see if they’re expired or not.
Keep the tips and tricks coming!
